Extrinsic Asthma
Thursday, November 6th, 2008 | Asthma Treatment | No Comments
Asthma starts at all ages. Extrinsic asthma is the most common type of asthma seen in asthma patients all over the world. Extrinsic asthma develops during childhood, since children are most susceptible to allergies. Most allergies in children are due to hay fever, eczema or family history of allergies. These allergies disappear as the child grows older and so does asthma, but they may reappear in later stages of life.

Comfrey Symphytum was used as a herbal remedy for centuries for many ailments.
A friend who had suffered asthma for over 20 years had brought this to my attention.
I ask him why does he grow so much Comfrey in his veg. garden his reply was a surprise. “I eat a raw leaf, now and then since doing so haven’t had any troubles with asthma. l can sleep all night with none of the old wheezing”. Upon researching comfrey this has been recorded many times. Has any of you tried this?

asthma attacks?
Wednesday, November 5th, 2008 | Asthma Treatment | 5 Comments
okay, I have asthma, and I get attacks whenever I play basketball, when it is hot out, or when theres a lot of dust in an area. I take singulair daily, and it usually helps quite a bit. my attacks have been more frequently lately since I’ve been playing basketball more, and it’s been hotter out. however, whenever I get attacks, I take my inhaler, but I freak out and I make my attacks worse because I can’t calm myself down. a lot of times I start to shake and I have passed out a few times because I freak out so bad. is there anything I can do, so that this won’t happen anymore? I **** it when it gets that bad. Thanks!
unfortunatly, I pretty much have to play basketball in the heat. I have camps just about every week, and non of these places turn on their air conditioning — which really *****.
