How to cure bronchitis or treat it? Please help!!!?

My boyfriend has bronchitis and its scaring me to death! He takes meds for it but its not doing anything. Its still really bad. He says bronchitis kills…and that makes things even worse. Is there any way to cure it or treat it really well???? please help. All answers are greatly appreciated.

He will need to go to the doctor and he will prescribe antibiotics and will also rule out any other under lying problems.

Did he see a doctor already? I’m recovering from smoking-initiated acute bronchitis as of now. I know it’s tough and suffering, and I went to see doctor. He prescribed me antibiotics and bronchodilator which help me.
My symptoms are,
-Shortness of breath
-Breathlessness (the worst part for me, 3:30 in the morning)
-Sore/Burning chest
-Constant phlegm in the throat

get your friend off dairy and on vitamin c supplements and vitamin a. does he smoke, smoking wont help treat it. drinking lots of hot green tea can help clean some toxins out try giving him that in the morning and night.
