I can’t see why his having asthma would be relevant, but there’s no such help in Texas, I’m a retired 20 year man (Nam and Desert Storm) but that didn’t help my daughter with her educational expenses at all. One of the few things McCain proposed during the Election with which I agreed was that veterans be able to transfer their own education benefits, like G.I. Bill, to their kids. I’d think having that as an option would be a real boost to recruiting and retention.
